Major New Features

Autodesk has answered user requests with revolutionary features in Revit 2022. This version brings significant improvements in performance, interoperability, and collaboration, consolidating Revit as the reference BIM tool in the construction industry.

Modeling Improvements

Revit 2022 introduces native slanted walls, allowing complex geometries to be modeled without resorting to custom families. Steel structure modeling tools have been enriched with new parametric connections. The rendering engine has also been improved for more realistic real-time visualizations.

Collaboration and Performance

The Autodesk Docs cloud platform now integrates natively with Revit, facilitating real-time collaborative work. Performance on large models has been optimized through better use of multithreading and RAM. IFC exports have been improved for better openBIM interoperability.

Impact for BIM Teams

At Continuum BIM, our modeler teams work daily on Revit. These improvements translate directly into productivity gains and better quality of BIM deliverables that we produce for our clients in Morocco and Africa.
